look north reporting sports capital and together leeds have joined forces in a last minute bid for our club

Why put unbelievable when it clearly states it on the news - is that you cellino LOL

2.) 03 Feb 2014
Haha negative Nancy here, but Haigh has been lying to the fans all along and farnan has no money he is just another media hungry business man.
We've had enough of them for a life time, this great club will only move forward with real player investment not communitybuilding.

Cellino seems like he will do that, yes he will want to pick the players we buy but this method hasn't done ac Milan, Barcelona, real Madridor all the other incredibly successful clubs around the world any harm.
Snoopy MOT

So the 2 groups are joining forces?That's all fine and good, but of all the names that have been made public, which 1 has the money to take the club forward?

4.) 03 Feb 2014
Cellino has owned Cagliari for over 20 years and I don't see them setting the European Football World alight. Or am I missing something?

5.) 03 Feb 2014
Give Cellinio a go money talks and He's got more than high and co.

6.) 03 Feb 2014
Yes pete you are missing something, callergi are the equivalent of huddersfield town and he's kept them in the Sierra A league for 20 years . Sierra A is far better than the championship . So not bad hey! Mot

7.) 03 Feb 2014
No money + no money = no money . Hope Cellino gets us, he has to much passion for the game to buy us for the sake of it .

8.) 03 Feb 2014
We don't need a mega rich owner, we need one that will bring stability - MOT

Ed I saw this in an Irish Paper last week. Is this the same Mike Farnan?

29 January 2014

Dublin GAA have made two senior appointments to its newly established Commercial, Marketing and Brand Development division.

Mike Farnan joins as a Senior Consultant with responsibility for the strategic development and execution of the commercial and brand development initiatives targeted in "Unleashing the Blue Wave - a strategy for Dublin GAA 2011 to 2017".

Mike is a very experienced global sports marketer who brings a wealth of experience of the business of sport from his previous board level roles at Sunderland FC, Sheffield United International, Jordan Grand Prix and Manchester United.

{Ed013's Note - Yes it seems it is mate}

10.) 03 Feb 2014
Cagliari only get crowds the size of the pie queue at leeds, that's why he wanted to relocate the club on the island where the population was, but was rejected.
Not keen but we need good hard cash, let's hope he takes on board our fans views- if that happens it could be great!

11.) 03 Feb 2014
Ed is it not strange that he would take on a new position while he is trying to buy out Leeds? Does he have the finances to take us over?

{Ed013's Note - I don't think he does, but whoever his backing are in the Consortium must have. I believe Cellino would have more money to taje the club forward, but I think it would be one roller-coaster of a ride. Every time Leeds went on their Xmas slump there would be a new manager in the dugout etc}

12.) 03 Feb 2014
Can they even do this now? given that GFH have already agreed to sell to Cellino, if/when he gets football league approval?
