A deal to bring in young AC Milan midfielder Zan Benedicic to Leeds looks to be complete in the next few days. He expected to arrive on a season long loan after meeting Cellino on Monday, but a deal to bring in Federico Viviani from Roma looks to have ended.

The delay in the viviani deal maybe because he was 2nd choice, think we tried to get zan beneticic first but milan said no to the deal . with salerno on board this looks now back and may include a permanent switch at the end of the loan.

Not at all Barnsley White, Benedicic is an attacking midfielder that sits right behind the striker, viviani plays deep creative. 2 totally different types of players so there's no first and second choice about it.

Rory- they played some decent football. Italian style football, if you watch the Italian league it is slowed down and then passed about looking for openings, rarely did I see a stray pass yesterday it was a team display and we aren't relying on individuals anymore and that's great. No more long balls good passing football, on the new signings, silvestri is a decent keeper but he needs to work on his kicking, bianchi is good on the ball always looking for a pass but goes missing sometimes, doukara is physically strong and holds the ball up well, has some nice first touches and reactions, fitness is down but can work on that, Morrison played well and byram was always bombing forward, Chris Dawson is tidy on the ball and is a great prospect, berardi looked decent when he came on but looks more of a midfielder to me, tonge played really well. Cook needs to work on his decision making but he has some cool passes and is good tracking back that was my opinion of yesterday anyway haha

Looks like MC had Viviani as back up if Benedicic deal did'nt go through - or realised we actually have some decent midfield players at club and his money better spent on a CB and CF and if Andy Delors is signed think he could have a huge impact at Leeds. The Danish CB from Juve looks good but still have Michele Pellizer of Cittadelia in Serie B in our sights and Dom Dwyer of Sporting Kansas in MLS (poss just loan until January)
