Being reported that Bolton game is Redders last chance to get a result, or he's gone. Not sure how I feel about that, but not really surprised, if it's true. And its not the daily fail so it might be

yes on cefax he's going but we've just missed out on some managers that's if mc will pay a wage he wants someone who will take peanuts but you pay for what u get £15k to 20k a week not enough

Nah, Redders will be with us til at least the end of this season, like he said we just need some help ie 2 wingers & a centre half

I back Redders -but the bottom line is that we cannot just keep on losing. So it's true that he needs a result asap -Cellino has invested an awful lot in this club, and whatever he thinks of Redders, he will not stand by and let the club drift into League 1. Having said which, I think Redders will turn it round just in time, and I back his policy of blooding youth (but it does need to be backed up by some better experience than the present senior players -and possibly a less predictable formation).

I believe everybody is paid to do their job
If they can't do it
Move them on
Thought football coaches were paid to win football matches? Not saying they should win them all but winning more than they lose, is a must!
Bye bye mate. Back to the academy!

In the event Redfearn does get the sack, who in their right mind would want to take the job? As the saying goes, 'you can't polish a turd'. I feel sorry for him if he does get the sack, but the results will dictate that. Who would be the best choice to take over, taking into consideration the current pool of available coaches?

Roberto di matteo

Simon Grayson would prob come

{Ed003's Note - He was 'interested' a few weeks back Speedy that I do know.}

Much as I like him I don't know why Redders was offered it in the first place, yes he won a couple of games whilst in temporary charge but his overall record is worse than the last 3 managers. Got to go back to the academy where he was doing a great job. We've missed out on Zico, Lennon, Pulis, Mackay and Steve Clarke, but there are some great managers still out of work or some who might be tempted. My personal opinion however is that no manager will succeed until the structure is changed back to a traditional managers job rather than the way we do it now which Redders said is different to anybody else. Give Glenn Hoddle a go!
