Another winger link. Phil Hay has tweeted that we are looking at Floyd Ayite from Bastia. He has also tweeted that Ross Turnbull should be announced in the next few hours.
With Rosler saying that 95% of business is done a winger looks like our last fist team transfer (I assume we will probably bring in a couple of young loan to buys for the U21 though).

3 assists in 33 apperances last season. doesn't speak volumes as surely that's the wingers most important role. Aidy white could of got 3 assists

Ayite got 5 Goals in 28 last season (3 in the league) with 6 assists.
Its not the best record we have been linked with but we are starting to get a little desperate. Also it does depend on the quality of the striker in the middle. He supposedly has a good turn of pace so if the lad can cross a decent ball we have to be confident Wood or Erwin will get on the end of a few more than that.

Steven Gerrard operated the majority of last season as a defensive midfielder and I am pretty sure he had a number of assists to go with his goals, so I believe the comparison has merit

Stevie G's assists I'll let you have but his goals came mainly from the penalty spot and free kicks lol . So he goals tally I can't let you have lol
