Just want to set the record straight.
I never ever claimed to be a friend of Cellino.
All I said was the truth and that I was trying to buy Yorkshire Radio for the fans when GFH pulled the plug.
Whilst I was negotiating with firstly Paul Hunt and then Haigh I was approached by a close friend of Massimo and asked if I could set up a meeting firstly with another Italian called Francesco which failed and then Massimo Cellino which succeeded.
I asked for nothing and received nothing and Cellino gave the radio live commentary rights to Bates to stop another court case.
He is not my buddy and nor am I his.
Oh yes I'm Leeds born and bred.

Jeff, my only problem with you is your claims to be 'in the know' which you clearly arent. You leave cryptic messages on here, make ridiculous comments like 'I could tell you more but I'd be shot' covering your own back so no-one asks you any more. You claimed Mowatt was definitely being sold to Newcastle and Lucas Radebe would be manager by Christmas. You also claimed that Cellino was skint - hardly ground !
I don't really have a problem with you Jeff, you amuse me. If you were just honest and admitted you didn't know anymore than the average poster on here, that would be fine but you continually post rubbish on here which is a bit sad really. Also why do you have multi-log ins? Is this so you can agree with yourself? Serious personality disorder me thinks.

Oh and another thing Jeff, what difference does it make that you're Leeds born and bred? There's plenty on here who aren't including myself but still get to games and support our beloved team. Many on here, don't go for whatever reason (financial, work, distance) and still have as much right to an opinion. You are Leeds born and bred but you clearly don't go to matches as when you were trying to buy friends and offering tickets out a couple of years back you didn't even know the match you were supposed to be attending was a morning kick-off and tried to arrange a meet at 1:30pm lol!

My last reply MM shall I clarify what I actually said.
Yes I said Mowatt was going to Newcastle and they came in for him but offered a pittance and bought someone else.
I also forecast Lucas would be the coach as I was assured he was the first choice of my great friend and co racehorse owner who was trying unsuccessfully to purchase the club at that time.
If you remember I correctly forecast the coach was to be called David but was told not give out his full name as Cellino didn't want loads of people running straight to the bookies.
Yes I stand by my comment on Cellino not having the money to take us much further.
I can go on and on but what's the point.
We all want Leeds and as soon as we come through this miserable 10 years the better for everyone.

Are problem is that in the past you have said things with the line fact, behind them .
And am awful lot of it never came true, advice only state things that you are certain of and you may get a more leverage .
I am from Essex supported Leeds over 40 yrs, and come on here for the gossip and comments from others in regard to the team and manager.
I do have contacts at West Ham and a friend who is a massive Brentford fan ex player .
Whether M C has money or not I don't really think made any difference to the Jan transfer window as it was spend big money on one player (Rhodes ) or sign someone on loan.

My daughter went to Gateways school in Harewood where I currently live.
Lucas's young son also attended.
When we picked up our kids we would stand outside talking many late afternoons and yes we are friends.

Unfortunately as Lucas went back to live in South Africa I have not seen or spoken to him for many years.
However I know for sure we will meet up again one day.
Whatever he is doing now I wish him well and hope he will come back to the club he loves one day soon.
Maybe when Parkin takes over very soon.
