Linked to Leon Osman on a free from Everton. Good or bad signing if comes off? I personally think it'd be a good signing even if he is 35. Decent footballer who created chances and scores a few goals too. Experienced head too to have alongside the likes of Cook and Mowatt. What does everyone else think?

I'd take him. Brings with him experience that can only help our young midfield. Monk only has a 1 year rolling contract and with Celinio having no patience he has to hit the ground running. I'd expect more signings like this, that might not be ones for the future, but hopefully can push us on
This season. However, it's imperative we keep our young stars and it seems to have gone quiet on the contract extension front.

We need a right balance between youngsters and experience so would be a great signing.

I agree with a lot above, experience and real proper footballing experience is imperative in our squad, I'd definitely take him on a year deal. An old head in the dressing room with real experience and knowledge to draw on when needed is something we haven't really had for a while.

Don't talk to me about Michael Brown and Michael Tongue haha.
