Positive noises coming out of ER according to the various websites. Pilot and Pablo look to be as good as done deals. Just Monkey Magic Man, his backroom staff, Sacko, Bartley and Taylor to go now and I'll be as happy as I was when I read that AR came on board. Can't imagine what I'll be like if we sign anyone new.

Pontius Pilate was a Roman general and was the judge at Jesus' trial which led to crucifixion. I'm guessing Pilot (or Pilate) would be the correct spelling is referring to Pontus Jansson. MM

Pontius Pilate was actually the 'Prefect' of Judea at the time of Jesus Christ's execution. He tried to get him off but failed and had to accept that people had the final say.

I wasn't aware that we had two people with a masters degree in theological studies using this site, I am not worthy to be graced with your presence. Pope Madius Mickius the first and Father Hess I await your next teachings with the uppermost anticipation. See you next week at confession as I've been a very naughty boy recently and feel the need to be a penitant man.

I've got a degree in drinking Stella, Lucas old boy from the University of Life. I hope you had a nibble at my prediction of Lincoln Ipswich with my prediction of both teams to score. Not great odds but made me £25 which I'll be lumping on the mighty Whites tomorrow. Down the pints, up the Whites. MM
