Wait up someone' thinks we got 5 mil to buy Howson ! No we only pay 500k anything above that we not interested of let's see what's in bargain basement abroad, oh did I say that don't worry we change the team in January window if things not working out and spend a lot more again why don't we buy three decent players, don't think we need to replace the hole team!

{Ed033's Note - Is there a hole in the team?

That's right. There's no point buying abroad when it's always one of the British Isles nations who wins either the European Championships and the World Cup. A British born player always takes the Ballon D'or and no title winning club like Newcastle in this league and Chelsea in the Premier ever buy foreign imports such as that well-known English name Diame and then Costa a familiar surname in the English countryside. Also it's not as if developed foreign imports bought on the cheap can be sold for profit. I mean who wants 90 million for Lukaku anyhow. Yep whitey. It's another worldie from you.

Well said Martyn_g, WTF Whiteman12!
Let's just spend millions on average players or better still chase everyone linked to Middlesbrough. We are all frustrated with waiting for proposed deals to get over the line, but at least give the owner and manager chance. Just because they not singing from the rooftop as to who and what deals we are doing, don't think things aren't being put in place. Why always Negativerty!

If only we spare £15m each on 'proven' Championship players to buy.

What I want to know is why we are not in for Robbie Keane yet Birmingham are. If Birmingham can afford his wages then surely Leeds can? Ok his old now but he still scores for fun.

Having Robbie Keane as a backup striker will get you way more goals than the current backup so yes it would be a lot more ambitious. If Birmingham can afford his wages then Leeds should be able to instead of going for the untried ekuban.
