Caleb Ekuban signed for an undisclosed fee. I hate undisclosed fees, why can't they tell us. Anyhoo, I phoned my old mate Jeff and he assures me the fee was £18m with add-ons and if Jeff says it, you got to believe it! Must say I'm liking these four year deals, much better than one year loan with a view to a permanent. Shows faith in the player and the fact we're building for the future. Couldn't agree more on many fronts, Mick. Hate undisclosed, means people can bitch about him being cheap. Love a 4 yr contract for a 23 yr old, because it means that there's been some serious scouting, and a few have seen some serious potential! Pints downing.

Was touted as a low risk punt of about £450k when first linked, obviously don't know what we actually paid but it might not be far off after spending 7 years at Verona without a Lg game. Low price big sell on clause maybe.

Ekuban seems to be Christiansen's choice, what with him being on APOEL radar. Christiansen was a striker and sees something in him. Could work out. Might not but, the same is true of all the new signings.
