Good stuff. Can't understand why anyone would give that the thumbs down. I can remember a certain Tom Lees getting constant stick from Leeds fans, moved to the Wendies (and many laughed) . He went on to become one of their best players and heroes. Confidence is a wonderful thing in football and I can see Coops having a good season now he is being backed by the management and his team mates. MM

Yeah MM fair play I have been a critic, but as you say some of it could be down to coaching as well as whom he is paired with . Take Bridcutt last night much better than his efforts the second half of last season.

No problem with Cooper, he is honest and he wants to be here.

Thought he was great on Sunday - very composed, apart from one small incident when he had a chat with the ref - without coffee 🙄. Looked fitter with better situational awareness and a bit more fire - let's hope he keeps it up 👍.

I posted a couple of weeks ago he just needs his confidence lifting and he'll come good. Even though I was slightly ridiculed by someone saying players shouldn't need to be molly coddled it's looking like I could be right. There's definitely a big improvement on last season already.

I think he will prove a lot of people wrong this season. I hope so too because he's had a lot of stick on social media. I think the same about Sacko but it'll probably take a couple of seasons with him. The boo boys should get off his back because it doesn't help anyone. There's a buzz back around ER and that negativity towards Sacko is souring it slightly for me.
