Like to see ekuban and Lassoga play as two strikers but I've looked at team and I've looked at every formation known to man and I just don't think we can play 4-4-2. We have to in my opinion have saiz and hernandez in the team and we can't do that with 4-4-2. Think today we got caught cold. And silly individual error by okane (again) cost us.

Tell that to George will ya Mighty. He seems to think we can leave out Saiz and Hernandez. There is no way we can play two strikers with them in the team, or even one of them for that matter. Imagine two strikers with Saiz and Hernandez behind them, the midfield would be totally over run.

Way I would do it and I know it ain't perfect but Alioski irritates me as does Okane so they are both out. Wied in goal, Bera rb, DeB lb, Pontus and Penny complete back 4. RV and Forshaw middle, Dallas and Hernandez wings with instructions and license given to Hern to come inside and bit of freedom, Lassy and Ekuban.

Eku good hold up play, Lassy can finish. Main player off bench Saiz. I know this controversial because Saiz our best player but I believe you must be loyal to formation and structure first. Fact is Wood no longer plays for us (excellent lone forward at this level whereas Lassy need help and we ought to be playing to his strengths because he can finish) and we need a goal threat while retaining balance and shape and transition between attack and defence.

Saiz can come on last half hour and replace potentially 6 players without causing imbalance. I'm not saying Saiz is carp. I know he our best player but team more important. That's how I'd do it. George out.

Agree but would play Saiz and Ekuban up front and use Lass as sub

Thanks Corky. You can go like for like and swap out Hern for Saiz. Roberts will come into things too. You right though. Hern or Saiz not both. Siamese twins luxury ill afforded. I just feel at this level players aren't good enough to execute a 4-2-3-1. Promotes too many cooks and gaps for opponents to capitalize on and in key areas. 4-4-2 simpler and we can get on scoresheet a lot easier. A basic tenet of the game is when you concede heads of the opposition go down and depression sets in. Lassy can cause that depression if only given the service.
