How big is this next game against boro? If we can come away with a win, be a huge boost and set us up nicely for remainder. Still a lot of points up for grabs but I think we will just fall short, we need to have a great run but still other teams need to do opposite. I don't think we score enough, lassoga playing better but I would still love a pacey striker up top. With saiz's vision and passing, playing through balls into the channels and fast striker running on past defenders and goal, lassoga can't do that. He needs to be in box or if outside he try's long short.

I would love a jimmy Floyd H back in team, fast, powerful with fierce shot. Was hoping Ekuban could be that, maybe in time but he sooooo needs that goal to come and unsure if PH a fan?

lewis grabban would have been that man imo. to be totally honest, its looking likely that boro are going to do their homework on us, traore will make anyone but dallas look like a mug on friday, so stick him there. We have to have a solid foundation from the start. If we want to have a chance of walking away with 3 points the team for me is: Wied, the best of 2 underperformers, berardi, jansson, pennington, dallas. on the right alioski, will work hard i think this week to prove his point, in the middle forshaw with phillips, 2 lads who will happily get stuck in in a game which will imo be low scoring and scrappy, on the left you play hernandez, number 10 saiz, and drop lasogga. i'd drop lasogga and play ekuban because they don't have a fast defence, starting ekuban may mean he's less clinical but he's certainly likely to tire these big lads out, he'll chase every ball that gets provided, and for 60 or 70 minutes i think he can do a job if he's on it. bring lasogga on when the game gets stretched and start throwing everything at him, really make him and said a focal point. we need to play on the ground and play to our advantages, i think its evident that hecky knows our best style now, we've gotten better with every game imo. very possible that we can take 3 points, they just need to start well and their tails will be up, riverside is a tough place to go though, need a controlled, composed, strong performance, the result will come through skill and us being fitter than them over 90 minutes, if we can have energy in that last half an hour itll get really stretched and that's when we need to be clinical. boro concede lots of late goals, ekuban could nacker them, and we exploit that. I think that's all ekuban is good for, we do need someone who can do what he does and score too, finding that will make a huge difference to us, i'm sure hecky knows that though
