It's said radz is overseeing signing yiadem? It's worrying when a chairman starts choosing signings. The reason your a chairman radz is because your knowledge of football players is lesser than that of managers/coaches so please go sort out some dosh and leave it to the pros. (not orta)

Agree.

I thought the best system in the past was for the manager to identify the player he wants and the chairman went and got the deal done.

That’s how it should be, manager identifies the player the chairman does the deal, also the scouts identify potential and the manager says yey or ney, if not just get a coach in !

It probably is grayson but unfortunately managers don't last long now and when a new one comes in he wants his own players which comes at a cost. A cost we couldn't afford

Problem with that Grayson is changing managers and having players under contract that the next manager doesn't want or use. Look how long it took Colin's tripe to leave as no one else wanted them. I'd let Orta stay in charge, he hasn't done that badly imo and I don't want a load of Barnsley players we can't shift on 4 year contracts.

Warnock did the best he could with no funds provided by our useless chairman. He wouldn't have chosen half of those players himself if he had any choice.

Nope. Saiz, Alioski, Forshaw, Lasogga have been good signings, and the u23 are pretty good. Not going to slate Grot as he hasn't had a chance and Kilch and Cibicki haven't had much of a chance either. Weidwald, Ekuban, Pennington look poor so far. Players like Cooper, Dallas, O'Kane, Phillips, Roofe were already here before him.

Personally see saiz as a player to just make money off. he's performed for 50% of the season and imo there's a shout that he cost us any chance of going up this season, for all his good work, i'd sooner have 8-10 million

Big of a glass half empty take on Saiz, Samo. His suspension may have reduced our chances of going up, but we wouldn't have been close without him anyway. I hope that we keep the kid, as long as he doesn't gob on me.
