I kind of like what Bielsa is doing for the cup game, giving some a rest and giving some fringe players a game but I do miss the days when the FA cup was a big deal - now it's all about getting promotion, I don't disagree with it, I'm just of an age when the cup was a glamourous thing not a stepping stone.

Quite right KRAY, all the top PL clubs think about is the Chump's League. It used to be such a big deal, and now because there is so much money in the game the FA Cup itself has been relegated. I can even remember a few years ago because of fixture commitments elsewhere, Man U excused themselves from that year's competition.

I'm the same mate, how disgusting is it that there was only 7 games that kicked off at 3 o' clock on the Saturday?

I am 58 and the FA cup was the highlight of the year when I was a lad. The introduction of so many internationals into the English game has scuppered the Magic of the Fa cup along with as the Champions league. 10am on FA cup day was the best football viewing of the year. Especially when our beloved club got to the Final. Just a pity about the Chelsky and Blunderland results. Anywho looking good this year, just hope that we buy a few badly needed back ups. MoT.

Quite right, a 2-1 victory at ER. Leeds scored the winner quite late in the game if memory serves.
