We can forget about taking the lad Kent from Liverpool on loan. Klopp has said no more loan time for him, so the only way he will be coming to Leeds is on a permanent transfer and we all know we not going to buy!

Admittedly it seems unlikely, but could we not go in for him on the same basis as Costa - loan this year but with a commitment to buy next season. That would meet our apparent need to keep costs down this year, while also giving the certainty Klopp is seeking for Liverpool and the lad himself.

Agree clueless, but he’s valued at over £20m, so our guaranteed outlay next year would be in excess of £35m. Can’t see that happening.

Why more wingers? We need a striker and cb.

Harrison played as a striker t’other day. Think MB might have plans to mix it up across the front 3, keep people guessing. Don’t forget that Thierry Henry was a winger too.

Harrison is no Henry, wish he was.

Alf. Stuart played a lot up front for crusaders before he went to brentford. Certainly hit the net a few times. ⚽️⚽️⚽️👍.

To fill out a bit on Batty's point, Dallas joined Crusaders as a 19 year old, and playing as a striker scored 16 goals in his first season. He only scored 8 the following year but it would seem that the team had signed a more experienced striker, 28 year-old Timmy Adamson from Dungannon Swifts, presumably to strengthen the squad for it's Europa League campaign. Dallas therefore played less league matches and seems to have taken on a secondary striker/ winger role, and also took on free kicks and corners, so perhaps unsurprisingly his goal output dropped, to just 8. The following season he joined Brentford as primarily a winger, and the rest, as they say, is history.

So I'd certainly back George's crusade to give Dallas a chance up front, he would likely score quite a few for us. He doesn't deserve the flack he receives from some sections of our 'support' - always puts a shift in wherever he's played, and as shown with his brace in the fateful last match against the Fat One's previous lot, he can make a significant contribution even when others are losing their heads. As we are unlikely to get Milner back, let's celebrate, not lambast, our current Mr Versatile and help encourage him to achieve previously unseen heights of performance for us.

On another note. Regarding Stuart’s old team crusaders. Last summer we where linked with Gavin whyte from crusaders for around £200k. A lot off posters slated this as from the Irish league. No quality etc. Today he’s just signed for Cardiff city from oxford too whom he went too last summer for an undisclosed fee. Some have it in region of £3m. so missed a trick maybe there from another player similar too Stuart when he left crusaders after winning young player of the year and I think players player. ⚽️⚽️⚽️👍.

You need to email Bielsa Clueless because if he keeps playing him as a full back i am guessing he will be in for more stick.

I like Dallas but there is no way he is a striker. I could see him in CM as he has great energy but I just can’t see him up top. Then again I thought Roofe couldn’t hack it as a striker!

Batty, not sure which neck of the woods you hail from, but I may be a bit of a geek. For my day job I need to find info fast and used to take some pride in finding stuff before my colleagues, or when they'd given up. So when someone puts a little info out there, I can tend to get a bit of a geek tick, to indulge my curiosity. Doesn't necessarily mean I'll remember it down the line, like a true geek would.
