Bub has said no need to change players or system because it was the best 60 min of his tenure and they were lucky to get a goal.
So he doesn't seem likely to change forwards or system.
Which really means he does not see our conversion rate as a problem or the fact that most of goals are conceded at the end when players tire.

The opening 60 WAS the best of his tenure. Unbelievable. But my head has been turned, and we need a change somewhere, in some way, to fix the conversion rate issue, I agree. No point being so dominant, and just drawing. I love the guy, love his tactics, his philosophy, his passion and energy, and morals. However, a change of some sort is needed.

Stubborn?

Agree.
He goes on to say that Bamford and Eddie can’t play together because Bamford needs midfield support not a fellow striker.
I like the idea of Roberts Eddie up front tbh.

Leodis when you’ve done his job to his standard then call him stubborn? I doubt in either yours and my lifetime we will ever know as much as him about football. You may have done well on fifa manager on Xbox but back in the real world he’s the one earning mega money and there’s prob a reason why your not ( well you maybe but it’s not as a championship manager)

Sorry Martyn, I take your point and worship the man for everything he has done for Leeds United. I (and many others) cannot help feeling that he does have a flaw in him (dont we all) that is his strong reluctance to change, or even to try a change. His perseverance with players who for whatever reason are not performing. By the way, never played FIFA so have no claims in that realm either. I fully accept the he is the manager, getting the big bucks and if his "intransigence" keeps us at number one then long may he reign. It will not stop me pointing out differences of opinion however. No doubt you will do the very same as and when the occasion arises.

Maybe the difference is faith.

As a Leeds supporter that was sometimes all we had.

He obviously has faith in his players to do what he asks of them as I don’t think he suffers fools.

I’m amazed some call him stubborn having never met the man. Is it loyalty to certain players, I don’t believe so. The team is set up to dominate and win games and more often than not that’s exactly what we do. Bielsa can’t legislate for missed chances.

Cork surely Bielsa can legislate for missed chances by playing players who will score them?

cork, people are saying he's stubnorn not on a personal level, but on a work level . Cork there should be no more argument about the merits of what's happening again at leeds this season . We have already left 7 points behind us now and we are in September .

Cork the stubbornness fans speak of is his unwillingness to TRY something different, not his personality

His tactics came a cropper last season and fans are fearful that same will happen again

Fans who pay his wages by the way so they are entitled to their opinion same as you or i are also entitled to ours .
Anyways heres hoping for a few victories now to clock up a few more on the board.
