quick response to other woody

you have coached for many years and said that Beradi did fine last night.

I don't care if he is a right back or not he is being played at CB so shall be judged as one

last night his back pass was criminal,

twice we was carved open because he don't know where he is meant to be

his touch to bring ball down was worse than sunday league inviting the other team onto him he then fouled a player due to his mistake and should of been sent off

all of this he has done consistantly for years now. he is awful

now bamford last night missed two sitters

so why is bamford under the cosh and not beradi. both ain't playing there natural games. both put in a shift and both do sloild work. both make mistakes but beradi makes more than bamford yet he is golden and bamford belittled. please explain why. using your coaching expereince

as for playing our best football in 20 years. that's a matter of opinion. i am not enjoying it. too many passes. not enough goals and look very fraglie in defence last night a decent team would of scored four against us

as for KP that's a whole other post. but yes i now believe kp is ready for england ahead of winks, henderson, rice, barkley, mount and my nan.

BW you really need to give it a rest over KP as it seems it is only you. ( and maybe. your nan ) in. the. entire universe that doesn't rate KP

Berardi always gives 100 %, I like that. he can occasionally have exceptional games at CB but yes we need better and he has been a red card liability.

Bamford has ability but not really in goalscoring

I am enjoying the football a lot except the profligacy in taking chances. which is utterly frustrating

if we had a good goalscorer ( s) . we would be Champions this season.

You like having an individual to slate, don’t ya Berm!?
Only thing is, you’re wrong, again. Have your opinion, and state it. We remember it.
You don’t have to keep forcing it down throats every time you scrutinise a player for errors, we can do that for all of the squad! Did you see JH miscontrol the ball in the 2nd half, and lose possession, allowing them to break and cross. He’s useless isn’t he! Worst winger ever. Waste of money! Etc, etc, etc. 🥱🥱🥱.

Every report I’ve read by ex pro, s say he was superb last night so if you know better than them your in the wrong job. Be funny to see what KP made of one of your plays. Wonder how you would respond if he slated you.

when fit K P will play Bera for me is all heart and gives 100% as stated by another poster, reality bites we are still in the championship so players like this will still make the squad .
Thank who ever that we are winning games again, if we get to the promised land it will be interesting to see how many are sold or allowed to leave.

Berra pass completion was around a very respectable 83% and he made a couple of old school ( but fair ) challenges that saw fletcher off nicely

One poor pass does not a career make. All players make them

Bielsa would not have him there if he couldn’t contribute

Read the piece on how Noel Hunt crumbled at Leeds

Nor every player can handle the pressure of that white shirt

Some embrace it, like future captain and England international KP

Some need more support.

Sing Bamford’s name. It’ll work far better than criticism

No one ever performed better getting abuse.

Missed a bit

Maybe it’s not that great to watch I don’t know. For the last two seasons it’s got us our highest league position since 2004 so guess it’s that I like too

Boro was a scrappy game, neither side put together much but the greater quality was shown by Leeds. The fella against ayling was decent. Otherwise, they’re in trouble.

We ground out a win without hitting the heights . I like that mentality. It’s what we lacked last season. We showed good game management at the end. I like that.

I just like attacking one touch, two touch, pass and move football. It’s how I coach. The way we keep the ball, play into gaps, use the full width. When it works it’s beautiful

It won’t always work, neither will hoof ball or other methods. Football isn’t an exact science.

I also favour high pressing and hunting in groups for the ball

I like the effort being made on recovery runs

We play a high energy game, they work so hard. Dallas is immense at times.

I like keeping the ball. A lot of my sessions are passing based. Plus movement on and off the ball.

Moving and keeping the ball in units.

We do play higher risk football that’s true. Not sure what football you like.

It’s risk vs reward, I coach players to be comfortable with the ball and to pass not hoof. It’s the modem way, it’s how I was coached

if a player misplaces a pass ( could still do that as a pro) you hope they learn from it without me screaming at them. The game itself is the best teacher

Most weeks the opposition say we are the best best they have played against this season

I’ll take that

I’ve no idea if that’s true or not. The best team is at the top of the table end of May, that’s how you judge it.

Nice article by Ben Parker on how valuable Berra has been this season as a squad player

Worth a read.
