haigh said there will be massive news in the next few days which he has been working on, I don't think it will be a player or players but more on the club side. i'd think it will be more investment or the buying back of elland rd/thorpe arch or both! my hunch would be elland road

It would be interesting to know if this investment is to buy back ER and it was funded by a brand for naming rights, would the fans be happy with the re-naming of the stadium?

I'll be honest, I don't think I would really mind in the long run, I wouldn't be all that keen to begin with but I'd get used to it.
If it brought the team forward then that's the main thing.

Lets face it, it's a famous enough ground that it would still be known as ER, a bit like St James's.

I would be happy if some company had to sponser it for a while for us to own our own ground, it would still be Elland Road to us that would never change, plus during the Ridsdale era didn't we all vote to move ground anyway?
