There has been some dreadful shooting from outside the box. Way too high and way too wide. or both. From a professional footballer, I would expect them to be better than my long range shooting. Some of the worst shooting I have ever seen. did their coaches never explain how to keep the ball down instead of almost clearing the stadium?

That's right Octy also have a look at the number of shots that are aimed straight at the goalie. For goodness sake shoot either side and you logically stand a better chance.

Yeah, you're dead right leodis. Shooting 101.not straight at the keeper! For pro's they are not too different from amateurs.
