Isn't it funny how many jump on the bandwagon after a poor result? There's been more negative comments after this defeat with a reserve team than positve comments after any win this season. While I agree the likes of lassogo and cbj look like a waste of time the squad ain't a million miles off. Get in a striker with pace movement strength and obviously a few goals and we be thereabouts. Personally I wouldn't believe TCs comments about being ok for forwards.

Not jumping on the band wagon been saying it for awhile. Have you not witnessed how poor we are playing, even when we won a few the team been playing poor. Is it a crime to want us to strengthen and at least try to push on. It's very well building a squad that maybe might come good in the future, but we can be in with a shout now will a bit of strengthening. Sorry to jump on the band wagon but have seen this time and time again.

We shall see how strong the squad is with Saiz missing for potentially six games.

Don't think it's as straightforward as that mate. Don't make every match but we have scraped a few lucky wins when been outplayed recently. You could say that's the mark of a good team, maybe so in the odd game but not when it keeps happening. Specifically today, I think there's a general feeling of frustration that we've been embarrassed again in round 3 by a lower league team; as against Sutton last year we made wholesale changes and paid the price, despite the fact we don't play again until next weekend.

Today, Forest played a strong team and are through, Spurs rested a few but still had Kane, Dembele, Lamela, Vertonghen and other strong players in their line up and they've still got Champions League and Prem ambitions to consider. I think our first 11 is not a million miles off as you say, if you mean a play off place (the club's stated target) but we lack strength in depth.

For example, if Saiz is out for 6 matches as has been suggested, where is the creativity to come from? Most of the recruitment has been for the development teams with youngsters from top european academies, but even if this does pay off, it could be several years before one or two make the breakthrough. Meanwhile the £20m from the Wood and Taylor sales which we would like to see spent on proven battle hardened players who can perform in this division remains unspent.

If there is a 1/3/5 year plan then great, we've been out the top flight for 14 years, so what's a few more but sometimes you have to wonder. As someone posted, seems like Groundhog Day again and again. Enough said, going for a few beers. ALAW

Wish some would jump of this bandwagon and see the wood trough the trees,

Trouble is it was not a reserve team was it. Everyone who played is in the first team squad. If the young lads had been blooded would not have minded so much, would have had more fight than the team that was out there.

Love it when the "you're not a Leeds fan" insult rears its ugly head. 😂😂🤔🤔🤔
