If and it's a big if we go on to beat Ipswich and go on a run with a settled team then yesterday's abomination will be forgotten but if we don't then questions will be asked

first team is good enough to put in a challenge against most teams in this division. Fact is if we lose two or three to injury the players we have in the squad are not good enough. There are four or five who are simply not good enough. We know we need a left back and striker to even challenge for promotion. We also need players who can step up as well. If we are not going to try some of the young ones we need to get at least 4 back up players to cover all positions as well as a left back and striker. All the players joining the academy come with big reputations but it looks like they will not be used. Pearce should be playing at left back now in my opinion. When Berardi plays center back in a cup game sort of tells me Paddy may as well go back to Ireland.

I'd have more confidence for the Ipswich game if we'd had a good win yesterday
