ok bit of a controversial post (unlike me I know), firstly I am not a fan of Ora, i was not pleased at his appointment or a fan of his past work however. looking at this season our poorest performers have been Cooper (stuck up for him but even I can't defend him no more) , Roofe (liked him but he not progressed as it not good enough) , Phillips (has some qualities but lacks in too many departments for me our worse player), Sako (great raw ability but not strong enough) then O'Kane, Veria (love him but not finished article yet) not far behind.

so our weakest parts are not Orta signings then look at his signings. many we can't judge as not seen enough of and are 'one for the future'. but Felix has been good for first season had some problems (so did De Gea at man United) but also some MOM performances and he was cheap Alisko many criticise but i think he has quality and works hard Loasossga good scoring rate and can play when used correctly Saiz quality maybe best player in league Forshaw and de block. early days but both look great signings then the ones for the future only one of them have to come good and we will be quids in, great to see Leeds looking forwards so has Orta been as bad as many have said (coming from an Orta hater).

Siaz best player not just for us but in this league, Alioski very frustrating as ability to do well but concedes silly free kicks and feigning injury, Lassaoga knows where the net is and will score goals he could easily get 20-30 in this league with right service and partner, as for keeper I would still go British for that position.

Roofe again as ability but been disappointed not all his fault but should be willing to play anywhere up front, Phillips and O'kane not good enough for me for midfielders O'kane's not even scored all midfielder's need to chip in with goals as for Cooper no better than a squad player and ok for cover as for the two two new lads we need to see more of them and give them time to settle and as for Orta I'd rather do without him than have him.

Felix is woeful. Needs shifting out. Appalling attempt at a goalkeeper. Lassoga can score but not prolific enough to build a team round him. can't jump or run and gets the ball stuck under hos feet far too iften considering he is slow. Not sure about debok at all. Been at fault fot two goals already. Alioski works hard but costs us because dosent get the free kicks he should because he dives. And then the opponents have the ball back. Saiz good. Forshaw good. Okane sacko phillips cooper rubbish
Viera roofe hernandez out of form. Which leaves. Not a lot.

Felix has been poor, came from a top flight German club, he panics too much and Should be better. Alioski maybe has the skill but continued falling to the floor let's him down. Cibiki, Grot and Polish Lad (forgot him already) Just not ready for this league, So yes I would question how good Ortas recruitment has been

Saiz only one who has proved himself so far. One out of how many. Lasogga is decent but not good enough to be on his own up front. Felix dodgy. Alioski is wasting his talent by giving up too easily. Two new ones we will have to see but De Bock looks average so far. Rest are below average right now. So i would say recruitment has been pretty dire so far. You can't say all he needs is for one young one to come good and he has proved himself, none may ever come good. Anyway we should be looking at who he has bought for first team, when you go into Jan 4 points off play offs you expect to sign a player or two who will improve us do not think we did.

Totally disagree about felix he stumbles around like a blind giraffe. hasn't a clue unless the ball hits him.

And m. Of all the championship strikers who have 8 or more goals only 2 have a better strike rate (goals per minute) than Lasogga. Playing for a goal shy team that'd pretty impressive!

Lassoga could come good, doing alright so far but not worth the wages. Felix a decent shot stopper but punches way too much for my liking. One day it will drop to the feet of an attacker who will pass it into an empty goal.
