Interesting to note that the Nigerian forward being touted as our next possible recruit is playing in a lower division and has scored less goals than Antenucci. Nice to see we are moving forward.

Agree Hesslian. This proposed transfer appears to be iffy in that I struggle to understand how a player playing in Serie B with a poor scoring record and injury record is valued at circa £3.5m. Even with the inflated prices of English football, a player like this would only cost half the cost being suggested in today's market.

Totally agree with both of you. Better to spend the money on the wages of a free agent, as others have suggested before.

My poor mental arithmetic says that the £3.5M for the lad who's name I can't spell would fuel Abel Hernandez 's wages for a year . jus saying
