Looking to next year, we have a good set up in development and I'm over the moon that TP is meant to be signing, shows radz putting his foot down rather than looking at short sighted money. I think he's looking more at, if a young left back can play 35/40 games of a season in a promotion winning side, his value will double compared to what it is now. It is all a business to these gentlemen, hence why they targeted play offs, not automatic, because you get more for at (and the fact that the stretch of our budget was 3.5 mil ON 1 PLAYER) . With a team like this where do you see players like roofe, ekuban, phillips, berardi, dallas, Ideguchi, sacko, murphy, fitting in? Bear in mind this is a back 3 with wing backs. BPF, Jansson, Ayling, Barts, Coyle, Pearce, Forhsaw, Hernandez (playing central alongside Forshaw) , Saiz, Hernandez, Edmondson. To me that could get leeds out of this league, coyle probably a risk, Edmondson too but I think they'll be a good two assets and home grown talent is what we need. Also who else should be making the step up to the first team this year? O'Connor and diaz are unquestionable, Clarke, rey, dalby, kun, struijk, sarkic, machuca, stevens, should probably all fancy their chances.

I’d get rid of sack. Eula. And Murphy. Keep the rest. I would love Bart ( who alone would shore up defence and be worth min 10 extra points a season ) and hern but realistically think it will be the same this year as other years. Talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. We will just miss the boat and end up with a few foreigners and a promise of an extra go at January transfer window. Hope I’m wrong of course but apart from Forshaw recently, nothing points to any different tactics. It’s all cheap lazy reporting I reckon.

We would receive far less compo if he let's his contract run down then leaves Samo, he could still be sold and we would get more as he's under contract

There are so many permutations Samo and each one has its merits. Yours for instance could easily have some of the names waiting in the wings playing in the first team and that's without the likes of Ideguchi and Roberts who for different reasons we have never seen, they could come good.

I agree gents I think both ideguchi and Roberts will be good players to have in the ranks based on what we've seen at other clubs and comments made. I fear like most that we have a pile of dross on the wage bill and not enough bartleys or forshaws, saying that look at some of the players boro have an dthey still didn't make it. I think radz will do right in keeping heck on I like the fact he wants to keep it consistent, just don't see heck being the man to bring us back to the big time.
