I know his pedigree but I think bielsa is a massive risk we can't afford to take. He's not going to know how crap most of the players are. So will have to find out for himself which will take time. We need to shift the dead wood now and start shaping the squad. that with limited English which is massive, and no know how off the championship. Good manager, wrong time I think.

Thing is we unlikely to get a quick fix from any manager we bring in. Would rather Radz puts the money up and gets a proper manager on a decent long term contract than another wannabie on a one year rolling contract who will probably be gone for christmas. Bielsa is as good as any out there, am surprised he is considering the championship so must have been given assurances from Radz. Yes he is a wild card but one with a lot of experience and football knowledge.

From what I've been reading about Bub I think it's a little naïve to say he doesn't know anything abou our players, or the English leagues. He seems to know everything there is to know about football in general, no doubt after the initial approach he would have been getting to know all the nitty-gritty about Leeds, our players, the league set-up and everything else, including Orta, Radz etc. I don't think he's one to be underestimated.

Bige, Al, totally agree. Bielsa is no mug, and cannot be categorised along with any of our managers of recent times, and by that, I mean since George Graham! If his terms and conditions are not met, and as you say, he's given assurances, he just won't come in, end of story. As Leodis said in his earlier post, patience is going to be key from everyone!

Totally agree with Stafford, I doubt you get to be labelled one of the world without having a decent idea on the 4th/5th biggest league in the world and besides, what did Hockaday, darko, redfearn, evans I think McDermott and Warnock should have been given more time. wasn't a fan of either but they atleast could be called a proper manager
