Morning all, I for one don't mind the wait for Bielsa nor am I put off with the so called 'South American Expert' Vickery's comments suggesting he has been found out. Someone with revolutionary ideas will continue to have them, if the rest of the world catch up, they come up with new ideas. I remember the football he produced at the 2004 Olympics with a relatively unknown Tevez, Mascerano and Maxi Rodriguez amongst others, maybe was the best I've ever seen! The players in that team continued to chase and win the ball for the rest of their careers! He did the same with many other teams! I reckon he may even turn somemof our flops into EFL beaters. We need to be patient, this dude is a legend and just what we need at ER. Sorry for long post, but we need to know this is our man and not the cheaper, quickly available alternatives! MOT!

Good post mate. Agree with you.

Disagree. He has never managed in England and has never managed such a poor team. Ranieri has done both.

I see your skepticism Ausman but to argue that I'd simply say. He has never managed in England = Then Leeds can be his first. He has never managed such a poor team = well most of the teams he managed were poor before his arrival. The fact he has never managed in England shouldn't really be a point, as no one has, until their first time! Anyway, just look at Santo at Wolves to answer your concerns .

I just hope that whoever we appoint has a good say in the recruitment of players that he can work with. Maybe Radz has learnt something from last season.

He has not said yes after at least a week. So it’s no to me. He does not see the Leeds we know and the potential. So he is just seeing pay day his way. It’s a no from me.

Or he is seeing a lot of things wrong with the club/structure and knows if that doesn't change he will have no more success than last the last group of managers/coaches and wants to ensure that changes so he can be successful. Maybe I'm dreaming but I hope I'm right!

Its obvious the lack of a manager is holding us up getting the players we need if the current set-up continues with Orta having a major say in recruitment can't see him coming Radz must know where the problem lay with last years poor signings still not convinced Bielsa is the right man the language barrier being a problem plus the money hell demand in wages and for players and if the going gets tough hell just up and leave big risk imo are we wasting time waiting for him? I think we are time to move on

Until something positive happens, and I hope it's this week, we fans will start thinking it's hot air that Radz and Kinnear are spewing. Everybody we get linked with seem to have other suitors as well except Mbakogu.

Ausman 1 I fully agree with you, he should jump to the offer of managing Leeds, unfortunately he see money that can’t be a good start,

Well most posts are correct in some ways. Bielsa would be unbelievable. Ranieri would be great and was my dream appoinment a month ago. Bruce, well not my choice but every reason to think he could do a job for us. I won't be downhearted if it's any of those 3. Knowing Radz it still might be Joe Bloggs from nowhere if Bielsa falls through

Yeah Speedy that seems to be the way we operate, players and managers. Bandy about A, B, C, and D, then sign X.

Canada. I think you've hit the nail mate. Bielsa is not simply a coach, and will want influence through all aspects of the club infrastructure, and to me, that is why this has become so drawn out.
