Not too sure of Jamal Blackman as a recruit. I do not think he is the type we need, at this stage of BPFs career. This is not to say that he is not a good keeper but surely we would be better served with an older keeper who has proved to be a safe pair of hands through his career. He would be a much better mentor for young Farrel, unless that is, Bielsa does not fancy BPF and is looking to replace not support. This is a nagging worry I have in general for all the young guns. I hope Bielsa sees, as we have done, the potential in a hardcore of these youngsters. I hope that in his search for instant success he does not disillusion some of those who could be the backbone of a future Leeds United for years to come.

Exactly my worry too. I fear for them and the future of the club if it does happen yet again

I agree that we need an experienced keeper Leodis, and not sure on Blackman although he does have a season's experience in the championship under his belt. Personally I would take Stockdale. Thing that worries me is that Blackman has been to Leeds with his advisors and yet no sign of a deal for him. Same story for the majority of the players we are said to be interested in. If it's true we have £20 million or so in out transfer kitty then what is the hold up. Something just don't add up.

It really does take forever for Leeds to get deals over the line. Come on Radz don't let another week go by without a signing or two.
