First point - I was saying let's take the 9 mil for saiz, and I wanted Klich out the squad so glad I've been proved wrong on those points so far .

Do we keep the momentum and the same team v Bolton? Or do we make wholesale changes and ensure that the team is at optimum fitness for the weekend . 3 games every 8-9 days is going to be tough going at that work rate.

For me, change the team, especially with the amount of younger ones we have.
Gives them a chance to get some game time mixed in with fringe senior players and rests the main 11. I also don't think losing the cup game with a different squad would effect their momentum.

To summarise, cup run isn't orthodox jeopardising potential play offs with tiring squad and if we can't play our potential future players in a cup game when will we?

If we're mid table 3/ 4 way through the season and in a decent cup round that's when it changes for me.

For me changes.
Championship is a very tough league and a long season rest players when you can.
Lots who need a full game like Jansson Roberts Bamford Baker Blackman and Harrison.
Let's see what they can do and whether they can play with the same tempo and composure as the current starting 11.

Just realised that myself bermo, is a concern. Although bielsa knows this, may see the likes of diaz and rey feature tomorrow night.

yeah sam this is my hope as well and have some confidence in this, pretty sure players like sheckleton, Daiz, Roberts, Peace and few others will play a few games and make a case for first 11. my only worry because I'm paranoid is Pep massively undereistimated his first season, city looked amaizng then fell to bits, I hope MB has learnt from Pep's original mistakes and jumps sitraight to second season success.
