I think Bielsa decision to take up so much time up with substitutions says that he was worried about losing and their momentum.
Let's not kid ourselves.
We were not the better team.
A draw was fair but if there was a point system for performance. They would have edged it.
Team effort yes. We were brill.
But cooper. Ayling and Phillips below par.
I like Phillips. Think he is amazing and versatile but off sorts today.

Aus don't know what game you were watching. We were up against a big physical team with the best defense and matched them in all areas.

Don’t know what u were watching. They could of scored from every corner and cross. But didn’t because poor finishing.
How many did we miss?

sorry wex I tend to agree with you but think aus is 100% right.

borough were the better team, they had the bigger better chances and our keeper played well, i don't think there keeper made a save of note.

MB was playing down the clock in my opinion and if there was going to be a winner I think it would of been them

however this is not doom and gloom, anyone who finsihes above borough will be champs, they are a great team

swans and borough brought draws but last season they would of brought defeats, can't win every game but getting points and doing well against big teams is playoff form at least, and think we all would of took playoffs before season started

just size of squad worries me.

Think the point is is that they didn’t come and play football they came and stunk the place out with Pulis football, effective as it was it’s not pleasant to watch it was a contrast of styles of play, bitlike warnock football, i'd rather watch what we are playing like now, be interesting to see what it would be like at Middlesbrough, I thought we looked better to the eye personally.

I'd have to say Clayton clearance off the line was the goal chance of the game.

Really wex. U saw that as on the line says it all.
Thanks bw. I’m 56 yrs old and Leeds.
Lived in Rochdale for 10 yrs and hated the fact **** MU were blind. Always unlucky or hard done by.
I see it and call it as it is. Or as I see it.
No rosey glasses here.

Was Clayton not on the line making the clearance as last man on the post.

The commentator even said Clayton was disciplined staying on the near post after the cross had passed him he stays in position guarding the post.

We were the better team with the ball in play. Technically the better team however not at our best. They were dangerous at set pieces which is to be expected but overall the team dealt well with them. Hernandez was a massive loss and could of made the difference as he would of gave them something more to worry about.

The stats say leeds 62% possession with 11 shots 3 on target compared to boro 9 shots 3 on target and 38% possession.

Wex, I think what Aus probably meant was that it was going wide anyway.
Which it was! 😋.

its ok aus have to call it like i see it and i agree with your post.

we are better on the eye but both hasslebaink and the other fella said they put money on borough to go up not leeds. stats are rubbish sometimes, didn't one team win once with 15% possession (was in prem last season can't remember who) pulis like warnock don't play nice football but it is effective and i wouldn't bet agsinst them going up and last night think they were the more effective team

that said we have played great football all season and when needed (swans and last night) have grinded out results which pleases me more than nice football as that is what gets you up or at least in play offs.

do i think we will go up? i'm not sure. am i enjoying life and loving watching us play. hell yeah and that is what matters. prem is rubbish league anyway championship is more games so more chances to watch leeds win MOT.

I'll say it, Leeds up as champions, unbeaten at home. Boro to maybe scrape the play-offs.

Keith Andrews and the co commentator on the match overplayed the Middlesbrough defending and did not condemn their total lack of creativity with the ball. Only passing references. They came to stop us playing and played 5-4-1 from the outset. They must be the tallest team in the division! They played to disrupt. Did you notice anyone we were in danger of breaking the man with the ball got hacked down as with Ayala and Flint in the second half especially the latter when that ball was slipped through for Bamford. I would not pay to watch their football more than once a year.

dont mind where we finish as long as season ain't over by xmas, i personally think borough will go up, brom will be there abouts

leeds, swans, brentford, fulham in playoffs (I know fulham are in prem but it is not a playoofs if fulham ain't in there)
