Patrick Bamford another strange one. Very good championship striker who when I first saw live reminded me a little of Bergkamp. Well he's tall and fair. Anyway his game imo doesn't seem like a good fit for a Bielsa team. He's mobile enough for a big man but can he put in the yards like the new improved Roofe?
As for Kemar I must admit I was 1000% wrong on him. I said numerous times last season he wasn't up to scratch as a wide player or striker and obviously I was wrong and I wasn't the only one. Now bow heads alongside me Notts and George and whoever else. What a turnaround from the lad. MOT.

Not convinced on bam. Never been a fan. Think we wasted money there.
At moment Roofe is firing so no big deal.
I was one that has always backed Roofe and he has come good now.

Yes, I must admit that Roofe has turned his game around. I thought that Roofe had ability but was lazy and played with no heart. Roofe is a different player this season. As for Bamford, the guy has not played enough to be written off yet.

On the striker front, I know bamford hasn't had a great run of games yet, but paying 7-10 mil for him, scoring 1 goal. that diagne we were after beforehand has 6 goals in his first 4 in the Turkish top flight, missed a trick or? same lad got 15 in 21 since January to the end of last year. i'm not bothered because roofe is scoring but.

Not gloating but I always said Roofe was decent.
Some of his goals for Oxford were top class finishes. He’s just taken a while to settle in. 😀👍.

Always thought Roofe would come good, and still only going to get better and better. As for Digne, he's supposedly still keen on a move to us, and is applying for an Italian passport to overcome work permit issues prior to a poss move in January. I also think that Bamford will show his value once up to Bielsa speed.

A bit premature to judge Bambam yet, he's hardly had any time on the pitch, I think he'll do the business when he gets a few starts.

We are praising Roofe after 2 seasons and criticizing Bamford after very little game time. Give him a chance. Not really had a proper opportunity yet!
