Big, big game tomorrow night.

3 points are a must, and ideally we need to be winning both home games this week to build some momentum back.

Which we haven't had since the cup defeat.

I didn't see the Blackburn game bur before hand one of the best parts of this season so far. Was not conceding from crosses, a problem we've had for the last decade. I hope this isn't the start of a slide in to that problem again, you will always struggle to win games if you can't defend crosses in this league.

But back to my main point, I look at the last month or so and we've dropped so many points that I worry we'll be 10 points behind the leaders before long. just like last year.

Sheffield Wed - Enough chances to win that game.

Brentford - Enough chances to win that game.

Blackburn - Previously only won one game at home this season.

Birmingham - Hadn't won a game until they came to Elland Road.

It's at least 5/ 6 points which I hate to say it, teams going up would win. I watched Middlesborough on Friday night and they were awful, just like Cardiff last year. But the pattern remains, it's about winning those games and we are not right now.

As we're still only a couple of points off the top it suggests that the other "top" teams are also guilty of throwing points away, I think we're not playing as well as we can but we're also well in touch.

It is a long season and we will have our good runs and poor runs as will every other team challenging for promotion. The important thing is to keep in touch at the top and not get dropped back from the pack. Under difficult circumstances with injuries we have done just that, it is comparable to playing badly and winning.

I agree we need to get back to winning ways and that should start against Ipswich, but being in the mix is important, it doesn't look like anyone is going to run away with this league unless business in January changes things.

Stay on the bus we doing well in a period of change for the players, they will improve under Bielsa I believe.

I agree
If we don’t put Ipswich to the sword then it shows that we are probably playoff hopefuls at best.

If we don't put the likes of Ipswich to the sword should we not consider ourselves a playoff team? Teams destined for the playoffs will beat the likes of Ipswich.

I would say Brentford had more chances than us at elland rd to be honest, Wednesday game apart I don’t think we are creating a huge amount of chances for all our possession, think saiz is totally out of form, always wants too many touches of the ball, maybe pablo back will help take the pressure off him to create, think we need to get Roofe back up front and not play him out wide, we all know he can’t play there.
