I can't remember a run of injuries like this. It is just one after the other and long term ones as well. Wish we could get Coyle back. What an achievement if we get through it and are still in contention.

Think Bielsa will miss Dallas more than people think. He is one of the few players that has been able to slot into several different positions. I know a few on this site don't think that we need to sign anyone in January but unless some of the injured return we may just struggle to keep pace with the top few places.

The minimum requirement is to bring another centre back in during the Jan window. Cooper will be sidelined for at least 8 weeks, probably more likely to be 12 weeks. Halm will fill the void short term but it is a big ask for him to play the rest of the season.

Remember who came in a full Leeds players, none in August and we were all hopeful with lots of names mentioned, some have been awesome elsewhere! .

Lack of investment. If experience isn't important just have a team and a bench full of year-olds.

Look at Norwich, not big spenders, not a squad full of expensive stars, some journeymen and youth players. It’s not just about the money, but about the quality and fit of the player to the club. I believe Radz wants to get promoted and can see the opportunity this year and I’m sure Bielsa wants the same. I want us to get promoted this tear because I think the opportunity is there, I trust Bielsa to make it clear what he needs to do the job and I believe the club will back him. Let’s review it end of Jan. But if the kids come in and we carry on doing well, that’s a good thing not a bad thing!

Spanish i think you will find Norwich spent loads last season on most of the squad they got. They lost a couple of players but did buy plenty, they just had a season to bed in. Similar to us, but they spent more.

Mezzer, I think their big spending days were before then, last season they sold players worth over 25 million and spend 20 of it. This year, a few of their performing players have come from the youth side. They weren’t on many people’s lists this year but the blend of coach, existing stars and younger players has delivered. Just trying to say that money spent doesn’t guarantee success it’s a more complicated mix than that. And I think we have a lot of those ingredients in place.
