For magic man Bielsa to start talking about bringing in this and that player would be against everything he's accomplishad so far.
He's a master at instilling self belief and confidence in individuals, which brings confidence and trust to the squad.
He said a few weeks ago he didn't need any additional signings but others at the club may feel different.
That was a hint that orta and radz were working on deals.
He is protecting his players.
He knows it could be a knock in confidence to a player if he feels someone is maybe going to replace him.
We don't need doubt in a players mind, when we are at this critical period in the campaign.
Masterful thinking from the man.
Imo we may just see 1 or 2 new
Recruits, but I will be happy either way. cheers lads.

Good post Gilesy! This idea that you can flash the chequebook and instantly buy first class players that will fit harmoniously into the squad and improve the performance, particularly in Jan, doesn’t wash with me. It’s always easy to spend other people’s money.

You have to have faith in Bielsa, Orta and Radz! Of course all three want us to be in the premiership and they must think that this year we have at least a good sniff. Buy but right players, right attitude, right price.

It might be a good idea to pick up a few more “kids” for the under 23s as well. They can have a chance to perform there until the summer and we can see how good they are.

Aus just wondering what your work background is and if you have ever managed people for a living?
It is a skill and has a huge effect on team/ people engagement and high engagement equals better results from a team.
To me that is why Bielsa has been able to turn an average group into contenders. They are engaged and believe in his methods.
De-stabilizing that team by talk of replacing some of them will no doubt affect that engagement and results.
If we sign anyone I expect the official announcement will be the first we hear about it for that reason.
