Hi guys, off topic, but I have a question for aus and kiwi and other Aussie and kiwi readers. Are u guys from them countries and support Leeds? Or originally from Yorkshire or England in general! I'm from Sussex and love Leeds, so yeah, just intrigued.

That's really cool, my earliest memory of Leeds is watching my dads reaction to final score and Leeds losing and is veiny relegated to the championship. So hopefully this season will be my fondest memory of being a Leeds fan ahah.

I am kiwi through and through. Of this I am very happy. Alas the downside is that I have never had the chance to see the whites in the flesh. Even if I make it to Perth next year I fear the experience will lack the zest of true competition. Keep up the good work you lot over there. It warms the cockles of my heart every time I hear MOT belting out from the tell.

So do I Alf! I remember almost going on a coach to watch the European Cup final, not going because my grandad could only get one ticket on the coach and no one could take me! So watched it on the tv at their house and threw my bobble hat up to get caught on the light fitting when I thought Peter Lorimer had scored! I think I cried a bit that night!

Born in Leeds, Coached junior football in Leeds (including a couple of Leeds players to be) and played Yorkshire league. Work took me to East Yorkshire when I was in my 30's. Still there.

Nice to hear all the stories, we all come to the club from deifferent eras and different reasons. I met a few of the scandavian families during their recent visit, incredible! There was one family from Norway, with a load of kids and the tradition was on the 10 th birthday they make a trip to Elland Road as part of the family celebration! Lovely, they’ve got one kid left under 10! The mum hand knitted bobble hats for everyone in Leeds colours. I was sat in the peacock with them and mum produces a bottle of vodka from her bag, to help with the cold!

I was born down south, grew up with all my mates being fans of Chelsea, spurs and arsenal. I didn't want to follow the crowd, this was the late 60s, so I chose Leeds. Moved to the Midlands in the 1970s where my dad's family was from and still there now. Leeds is in my blood, witnessed some really great times and some not so. Try to get up to Leeds as often as i can.

I was taken by my Dad in 1964 v Scunthorpe and been a fan ever since. My Dad is still alive, he first went to ER in the forties, he is now over 90 years old, he has virtually lost his sight so he only goes once a season just to say he has been, but listens to every game and all the news regarding the Whites on Radio Leeds. He is determined to witness us return to the Premier League, hopefully this season he will get his wish.

Always nice to hear all the different ways that we became Leeds fans, especially the lads from abroad and other far flung corners of the country.

Born and bred in Sydney mate. When I was a lad the only football coverage we got was Jimmy Hill and Match of the Day and Shoot magazine about a month after it issued. You only ever heard about a few teams and TBH I can't recall what is was that attracted me to Leeds except, maybe even then, it was them against the rest. Can't get to Perth due to work, but will be moving heaven and earth to get a ticket for the Sydney game.
