He picks a week before the January window to commit his latest blooper. Bad timing or what? Gary Sprake was a good GK but he did make a fair share of mistakes. How much more we would have won if he was just a little more reliable. If it is going to happen I hope we go for the very best we can. It may make all the difference come May.

Think he deserves a break in fairness to the kid he's been thrown in at the deep end. And he's keeping his head above water. Give him a break he's saved us in a few games as well.

Good point Wex, only four weeks ago he saved the late penalty to clinch the points at Reading. Having said that not sure at this moment we have a stronger replacement who is ready to go.

Bub took the unusual step of saying Blackman was to replace BOF prior to his unfortunate injury, so I believe the most likely signing of January will be a keeper.

That being said for such a young lad he is streets ahead of Felix and our strongest keeper we have just now, so lots of praise and encouragement from me and hope that he learns quickly he’s a great kid. ALAW.

Felix, Lonners or BPF? He’s young and learning, if the first 2 were half decent he’d be learning still for the Unders, but like all the Academy players it’s great to see them being given a chance rather than being left to rot outside of the first team like at so many other clubs. We have a great youth policy and not BPF fault he has to learn in the spotlight so we have to cut him some slack and not get on his back like so many did with KP. MOT.
