“I sort of hate their fans. 36,000 of them and they never shut up getting behind their team. Singing, shouting, howling their derision at us, the Derby players, the referee.   Absolutely intimidating and joyous at the same time.

Had a quick look on their forum sheds, most hate all things leeds. One even stated his father brought him up to call us dirty Leeds . But to be fair to their fans on the forum most admire our team and the way we are playing, many saying we are the best team they have faced this season. They are not blaming spy gate for their defeat unlike franky boy, many find it amusing.

They certainly do hate us Mezz and I'm sure it all stems from 1975 and a certain match where a diving Franny Lee got chinned by a normally placid Mr Hunter 😀.

I remember it well sheds, franny Lee with a nice fat lip and his windmill punches that never landed as they walked off the pitch. Do recall Norman falling over from the wind generated from frannys arms.

I was at that game 2 sheds, and Franny Lees dive would put Tom Daley in 2nd place. A little latter Norman gave a tackle (fair) he would never forget, which resulted in both sent off.
