OK. IF we don't get promotion, who/ what would be to blame. bad luck, intransigence, lack of investment, poor management at whatever level, "promotion next year was the real goal anyway", "we have all the talent at the club we need! ".

Don't see the point in this post at this time.

As Spanish said recently. "The time for a post mortem is when the patient is dead not when he is very much alive and kicking".

Hi Tewit. I see your point, but it reads a bit dismissive, though I would guess unintentionally. Metiss, part of me thinks that whilst there are likely to be loads of contributory factors, naivety may play a big part. I thank that Radz and Orta are still not as knowledgeable as they would hope, not a criticism- they have come along way on a bit of a rollercoaster in a short time - not long ago they were buying out Hecks contract with the Titans Barnsley, then they land a manager with real pedigree and sign a player from Real Madrid. A long way from Hockaday era. If the wheels do come off, I am going to put it down to mistakes were made by a few people, but they were made with the right intent. I am not going to blame any of the key strategists. Whatever happens now they have give it a bloody good shot and so far provided a highly entertaining nail biting season. Superb!

Matisse It will be the failure to land James, if failure happens. Harrison, however, has responded to play a little better. What we do against the 3 Bs will have a huge say on where we finish. Brom, Blades and Bristol. Ironic given how we are going to need our own 2 Bs to be firing. Bamford and Brown. I can see a photo finish.

What can we we do to make the most of the opportunity we have, 3rd place with a game in hand.

1. Score more goals, we’ve had good possession, played good football and created chances not got enough on target or in the net. Everyone we score from here on in could still make a huge difference.

2. Win the games at home against the other top teams, West Brom and Sheffield left at home, the 6 points from those two games could well be the difference between automatic promotion and the playoffs.

If we don’t do both of the above, then it’ll give us something to debate in the summer!

Can't see the point in trying to lay blame on anyone for something that may or may not happen. If, as a few people on here seem to take joy in, we don't get promoted then the blame is on everybody, Radz to the fans, we are a TEAM.

Agree Al, concentrate on what we can do to make a difference in the games left!

Interesting. My son is a great Man. Utd fan and he sometimes lives in the same dreamland too as if what he thinks has some meaningful bearing on what happens.
Perhaps if we all promise to be good and pray really really hard Leeds will go up! . maybe it doesn't work like that and fans actually only have "talk" on web sites Tewitlander!

Metisse, I struggled to read on after the “ son is a great Man Utd Supporter”! Very sorry for you mate, sometimes our kids just turn out like this, no fault of the parents! Don’t blame yourself. Might still just be a phase he’s going through!

metissekit

No idea what your last post is supposed to mean. "same dreamland". "praying". What are you talking about?

All my post said is that there is absolutely no point in trying to proportionate blame before something actually happens. That is just negativity.

Maybe you should concentrate on bringing your son up properly and turn him away from the dark side! (Joke)

AL that’s sounds like a good idea, let’s all take a share off the blame, shame we don’t do that with the other Chairman!
