u23's 4-0 lad in midfield had a blinder 2nd half.

He did indeed if you mean Bogusz, who had a great game, really strong second half like the team and what looked like a superb goal. You could also have meant Kun, who also had a good one.

The first half was a tough 45, with Charlton posing a tough challenge and pressing us hard. Stevens took a fine goal to ease the worries.

The second half was a very impressive show of quality attacking football. This was the Under 23 version of the Wrst Brom game. Everyone contributed and some lovely linking play involving Bogusz, Kun, Jack Clarke and Stevens. Aided and abetted by quality ball out of the defense. Some sublime passing across the park!

JC was back! Some great runs and attacks, just missed the goal from a few decent chances. In fact he was so keen to score he took the penalty and promptly missed! Not sure Ryan or Kun we’re too amused at that. But JC looked fit and full of energy and did 80mins.

Great atmosphere, 4 goals, Kun and Struick adding the others. Very impressive performance, this really is a great group of plays. Bogusz stood out, but Kun, Stevens, Clarke not far behind and pretty solid at the back. Now 8 points clear at the top of the league, over to you big boys!

Also managed to get to U23s tonight. Immediate impression, apparently shared by those sitting next to me, was just how small Harrison Male is - shows a certain determination on his part to get so far as a goalkeeper despite his small stature. It was a fairly even but scrappy first half, with a very concerted press deployed by Charlton which was largely successful in disrupting our usual slick passing. Stevens'goal towards the end of the half came as relief - cutting in from the right to finish the move with a shot that eluded their goalkeeper and a defender's spectacular attempted goal-line clearance.

Charlton's resolve seemingly broken by that goal, the second half was mostly one-way, with Bogusz pulling the strings for us. On the whole, I was very impressed by the lad - certainly strong in the challenge, with good composure, skill and vision and a great passing range. There were a few occasions when he took speculative and wayward shots rather than play in others who were better placed, and on the last such occasion I think I heard Corberan shout to him to pass the ball - which he did with aplomb from that point. He is clearly already popular with the rest of the team, from the way they celebrated his goal - hopefully his first of many for Leeds. Great to see Jack Clarke back and full of running - pity about his penalty. I'd also agree that Kun had a great second half, and seems a good option in the 10 role at this level. Diaz and Strujik more than held their own, despite some fairly robust foul challenges on them.

Charlton's substitutions towards the end of the second half provided them a little more pace and trickery, but without really troubling our defence, and in truth but for a great showing by their keeper we could have got to double figures, such was our dominance, and quality of play. The future is bright, and White.

Sounds like we all saw pretty much the same game, encouraging! You’re right about Male, has huffer gone back out on loan? I think in this league, our style and fitness often saps the energy of opponents and we dominate the later stages of games.
