So fellow posters. It's that time of year. Accounts are out and show fantastic progress. U23s have shown their passion and skill and also helped some of our stars get fit. The club's buzzin and we are close to pl heaven. However and don't shout me down for this. Would I personally prefer and year in the pl and we do a Fulham/ Cardiff. Or do we just miss out on top 2 and get a Wembley trip only to lose but the emotion of going again next year in the championship and momentum to win it and go up with a wealth of home grown developed talent to have a proper crack? I am loving my time as a fan at moment and it is appropriate that we can reference those champions league days of andrenalin and happiness. Still saying that I think mb will press his go and finish the job button and we will smash the last part of the season to go up champions. 2 nil to us sat. Roofe and brown.

so much money in prem it has to be promotion even if we get smashed next year, like so many clubs it gives money and a platform to come down but be more soild to go back up. To be honest after 15 years out of prem I would settle for being a yo-yo club for the next ten. That said I also loved it in league one and will cheer on the lads either way.

When offered the chance of promotion, my advice, grab it and don't let go. At the start of any season there is no guarantee to carry on from last season. There is no guarantee of success (ask Stoke) no matter what the pundits say. No, better go up spend cautiously and wisely then if relegated buckle up and go again.

This is the year where we have a real opportunity, so concentrate on this one first.

I want to go up and stay up, perhaps not challenging the big boys at first but being safe in the league for a few years as we build back.

But hopefully the time to talk about that will be in May!

As a club we are able to exceed both of the above with the set up we now have

Fulham threw away what they had built

Cardiff have Colin, try hard but go the way of all his other teams once promoted.

Promotion, top 10, top 8 and then CL, actually I'd consider missing the top 10 season 😁😁😁.
