With all the new recruit names bandied about, may I just throw a few in, Kun, Halme, Diaz, Stevens, Edmundson, Odour, McCalmont, Boghusz and ask what happens to them?
You may all have your particular favourites but non can argue. All of these have shone through this past season.

I think we need to know what league we are playing in before those decisions are made. If we stay in the championship, I would hope a number of those would be given opportunities pre season. If we go up, tougher call, how many of those would be ready for premiership football next year?

Totally Leo! Bang on! A couple of experienced heads added, combined with the team with have now, and those you mention, then boom! The PL poops it’s pants, because super Leeds are back!

I hope that Bielsa has at least a few heads doing the kind of analysis he did before taking the job on the championship on the premiership with a view to what we will need. This year the aim was clear top six or better and the analysis and delivery doesn’t appear too far away? What would the aim be for a first season back in the premiership and what change in resources will be required. That’s why I think automatic promotion helps, gives a bit more planning time.

With you Leodis think most of them could help out first team whatever league we are in. Add Kennah Haugland, Kamwa Huffer, in a couple of years. Still think we will need to add to squad if we go up need some experienced players in premiership and some pace up front.

Bige, who do you think could make the leap to premiership squad?

Not saying to start in first team straight away but off the bench Edmondson, Diaz, Bogus, Stevens and Halme will offer something. They will not be all playing together or on bench together for a while but all are capable of stepping up if needed and all will improve. I doubt that we have invested so much in the youth teams not to use them to be honest. To be fair its the chance of first team games that drives the young ones on so why deny them it if they are talented and capable.

Only from the little of the TV coverage of the U23s I have seen

Diaz at 22yo looks like he could make the step up to the first team

Always like what I see of Halme

Edmondson reminds me a lot of Smith, in his will to win and eye for a goal

Bogusz has come out of the blue, and he is of similar age to Batty, Spped and Kewell when they arrived in the first team

Obviously Clarke is there already

And Tyler is growing with every game

I get boring, in that I am desperately keen to see Milner back.

Where would you see Milner playing axe? As nice as it would be to see him back, I don't think Bub is as sentimental as we are, Lewis Cook on the other hand maybe he'd fit in 😉.

I am thinking he is parachuted in to the Klich role

They both seem like very athletic box to box players
But Milner just edges it on experience
However, Klich moves to the bench to improve that area of our squad.

I know it’s exciting times boys but I wish people would stop getting ahead of them self’s. we’ve won nothing yet. Let’s not get too complacent.

Here, here AL

no point in being pessimistic all our lives. We have had years to perfect that

. and anyway, I actually think Milner might come back even if we are in the Championship next year. Its obvious his time is coming to a end at Liverpool as younger guys are getting more and more game time.
