Scousers just probably equalled a record held by Leeds for almost 5 decades. Does anyone know what it is? The clue is in the 3rd word of my post. Ed001 will get it for sure. Winner gets to look at Emma in the flesh.

Fred is correct with most number of points. In the 70/ 71 season Leeds were pipped to the league crown by Arsenal by a point who I believe went on to do the double. When you convert the old 2 points for a win to the modern 3, we acquired 91 points that season which I believe dem Scousers have just equalled like.

Since it looks like Citeh will win the league, Liverpool have "probably" matched our record and will of course improve on it. The season 48 years ago was played over 42 games making Liverpool's new feat all the more impressive. Anyway, congrats Fred. Take some pics! Tewi, don't get jealous!
