Whilst it's easy to criticise Radz for things he hasn't done or won't do in the future, let's look at two things we did do that cost money, buy Kiko and Bamford. I'm assuming we can agree that the responsibility for those recruitment decisions were Orta and at least approval from Bielsa. You could easily argue the the uncertainty caused by Kiko and the failure to produce when called on by Bamford, hit us very hard at key moments of the season. Pukki was a free transfer bought at the beginning of the transfer window, Bamford bought towards the end at a fee rumoured to start at 7 million and rise to 10. I agree with Alf, lots of fingers pointing at Radz and Bielsa this year but not so many at Orta who really gets to spend whatever money is available. If you have less money to spend its even more important that you spend it wisely!

But . the signing of a keeper from Real Madrid was considered quite a coup

hindsight and all that

Bamford can score goals. We’ve not seen what him at anything like his best

Knowing our luck we could sign messi and he’d hit a rough patch

Orta has picked up some gems ( see u23s) you won’t get them all

Signings are always a gamble, even old red nose signed some duffers.

Casilly was considered a coup because he was on the books at Real Madrid - not for any other reason. he was third choice there though and barely made the bench. Just because you happen to be at a decent club does not mean you are a good player particularly when never played. He couldn't break into the Arsenal team either when he had very little competition leading me to think he is actually not a very good keeper at all. He has conceded some real shockers in the short time he has been with us and is a very weak link imo.

Everyone on here knows I’m not a finger pointer, and I certainly won’t point at any of the 3, Bielsa, Rad, or Orta. For me, in my head anyway, I just look at the fact that we’ve had our best season for many, many years, watching some fantastic, progressive football, not just at senior level, but academy sides too. Plus we are also on the best financial footing we have been on for many years too. Totally get frustrations having got so close, and feel the same, but still feel we are moving in the right direction to get where we belong, and soon.

Bamford has scored about 20 odd goals over the last 3 years.

no player gets on real madrid books without being good and of quality

yes he made some mistakes, so did de gea and he is best in the world.

yes he comes off line like MB tells him too.

im not saying i ain't moaned at him, just saying he might come good

as for bamford he is not the best in league but far from the worst give him another year.

bamfords first season was better than woods and roofes so maybe he is not the scape goat some make him out to be

if we keep shacks and clarke, sell pontus, roofe and phillips we will have money to invest, spend it wisely and using sqaud we have and youth we will be champs next year

money don't get you out of this league, being stable, gritty and having a hard team does, ask cardiff.

But if those key players are sold, do you honestly believe Radz will spend all the money on the squad?
