A few lads mentioning Pep for the job. While I wouldn't say I'm totally against it, I really can't see why. No management experience. It's a big difference being an assistant as to being mansger. I also can't understand people now saying he was the brains behind the management team last season. On what basis? However nobody really knows how someone will perform until given a chance and maybe he will be the new David O'Leary. Did I really just say that.

Pep wouldn't be offered Manager. we are looking for a coach so it doesn't matter if he has no Managerial experience. My fear is that it will take 'the new guy' 10 or 12 matches to groom his team. If we start with the same form as Monk did it will be an uphill battle to make the playoffs. I would like to see Pep being retained as head coach. Anyway whatever I will still back whoever is put in charge. MOT

Fredh is it legal for a coach to 'groom' a load of young lads? I've been told I could get in a lot of trouble for that.
