Carn't believe everyone is getting excited about signing unproven 2nd division players from the likes of spain italy and germany etc. We are only after them because they are a cheaper option and no one else wants them. This season will be tough if we don't sign some experienced promotion winning players. Anyone remember these beauties? Edgar Cani, Granddi Ngoyi, Brian Montenegro, Zan Benedicic, Dario del Fabro, Adryan Tavares, Casper Sloth, Jordan Botaka, Tommaso Bianchi, and don't forget £2m man Marcus Antonsson. We should of signed these Garry Monk (why no 3 year deal? ) David Stockdale what happened there? Kyle Bartley have we even tried? Johnny Howson looks unlikly with all the unproven foreign midfielders we are linked with, Joe Ledley (free) with bags of experience, George Boyd gone to shef wed will tear us apart next season, Rickie Lambert good option if Wood gets injured and availible for free another with experience, Leigh Griffiths proven goal scorer at championship level i.e Scotish PL. I can see us in January with the same situation as previous seasons lumbered with foreign players who carn't hack it in this tough league.

We do still need at least 3-4 more quality signings. So far we have a couple that may prove gems. Def need more though. And from what i can see or hear. All gone a bit quiet. Maybe behind closed doors negotiations going on. We started transfer activity off well and quickly. Be good to conclude business asap.

WW, I think our director of football is looking at players from markets he knows. I said the other day, I doubt we will sign any British players. I think we need to wait until all our business is done, and then until about ten games in before we can decide whether our new regime are genius's or just another bunch of chancers.
