There could be one or two lower level PL teams thinking about buying him, but wondering if last year was a flash in the pan. We will have played six games before the transfer window closes. If Wood scores 4/5 goals in those games then someone might just take a chance on him. Leaving us no time to get anyone in. ðŸ˜±

Not just what speedyg but when. Sometimes big money offers come in and there's no time to find a replacement. If a PL club offer us 15m+ on deadline day think we'd take it and just struggle on for a few months using what we have.

If the deal completes I can see TC playing Saiz in the Hernandez position alongside Wood and again if the deal completes I can see Alioski being given a free roving role to support as and when. Could be the new Kewell.

Personally think Roofe, Erwin and Antonsson are fighting for 1 place right now, maybe Douk too. At least 2 or 3 of those 4 will go up for sale when we get back from training camp after TC has had time to assess them I have to think.

Gummie Made similar post up top in reply to LIG. Ant is gone in my opinion. You've also got to factor in Ekuban, Stokes and Wilks too. I'd keep Douk. I like him as an impact sub for last 20 odd minutes. I think Roofe will stay but he'll be told he must produce more end product. The real conundrum is what you do with Irwin because he's apparently looking sharpest ever been. It's a nice headache for TC to have but Ant must go now. There's simply no room.
