£20. Million he's gone no way can Leeds knock that back . we could get 2 strikers. and a top. CB for that money. get the 20. Million. now because if we. Do keep him and he has a bad season. IMO he's not going to go . so why not take 20 mil.

£20m doesn't get you 2 strikers in the current market, not proven ones that are worth having at least, these guys are going for £12m-£15m. Might just about get a ST and a CB with a couple of million in change, unless we take a risk on someone that might score in this league and that's a huge risk.

I really like wood, however it was only this time last year against fulham everyone was giving him a load of abuse and he scored and gave the crowd a sign when scoring. At that point last year we would have laughed our heads off at wood going for 20 million 12 months later. i'd be sad to see him go as he will be good for us this year but that is a hell of a lot of money to turn down. and i disagree you could pick up 2 st and CB for that. Look at Alioski and Saiz yes they still have a lot to prove but they look two brilliant players and they cost us 4/5Mil tops.

Thats a winger and an attacking mid last time I checked Phill not strikers. That said yeah, maybe Ekuban will score 20+ or that German lad we are looking at, the key point is 'proven', you can take a risk on a 'might' fairly cheap but someone you know can an will score that many is a different matter. Antonsson looked a steal when we signed him.
