From all accounts Wood is leaving in the next 48 hours. I hope TC has been working on what needs to be done to take the club forward after his departure as he must have known for a while it was going to happen. This will give him the chance to show what he can do. I hope he is in the David Wagner mould and knows how to put a team together and get the best out of them. If he goes for a quick fit of Ross McCormack and/ or Snodgrass I would be disappointed and I would think he is not up to the job - a bit of a loser. The pair of them have struggled lately and they would, in my opinion, be disruptive influences.

What about telling Burnley to forget the add-ons and throw in Sam Vokes instead?

Good player Vokes by all accounts but was poor when we had him on loan. Couldn't score to save his life.
