I think it will be a fairly quiet day today. We are likely to announce Lasogga and Cibicki and that will be about it (has Lonergan been announced yet and is that confirmed as a move? ) . I don't think we have anyone going out. We are still being linked to every striker who hasn't yet moved but I can't see it myself - we haven't bought from the UK all window and i will be surprised if it happens on the last day.

Still think we could do with another centre half, personally would be snapping up Aiden Flint from Bristol. Competition in that area is what we need still, worry about injuries, it's a long hard season.

Funny really, as it's been along time since we had this sort of club, you know the one that buys players. Norwich want one of our players, by the way we don't our old one back and do one . That felt good.

Indeed. The last time we spent this kind of money (£100m + since April) was under Peter Ridsdale and David O'Leary. Oh well, at least nothing bad came of the era :-P
