Overall we spent roughly 19.5million in this window (on players) (including Lasogga's wages) and recouped 23 million. Hopefully the rest will be reinvested at a later point.

Nitpicking alf. Are you not happy with wat we got. You want every last penny spent?

Alf thought it was slightly less around 16m and that is not adding in any wages. Rads also pledged circa £15m to the transfer kitty. Would like to think we could have £7m from transfer trading surplus plus the pledged £15m. Giving us a kitty of £22m. Think we will plug any perceived weak areas in January window and then reassess at the end of the season. From a business perspective even if you allowed for the purchase of the ground from these funds at £17m we still have £5m in the kitty to strengthen. Think Rads was also quoted as saying the cost of ground repurchase was costed separately and not part of any transfer kitty funds. Further to this and reading between the lines in one of his most recent interviews he was trying to say that with the large scale resources that he had to put in, if he could not get us promoted within 5 years of trying, he would move aside. More like saying if he couldn't achieve it with his funding there would be something wrong and he would let somebody else takeover

really don't think Wood going was part of Rads and T C plans but he has and we have had an excellent transfer window . Rads spoke about reinvestment of funds, he has not lied or lead us on as yet . Our new coach and players doing well new room team club etc well no one seems to be replaced or resigned . U23 lots of players from big European clubs and it seems as if this area is being taken as seriously as it should . Like most of you I thank M C for putting our club back on it's feet, however from the turnover of all staff I do think he was a tough bugger to get on with . Even our ladies team have been taken back into the fold of Leeds utd, and finally have you all noticed the lack of negative media coverage regarding us ! MOT

I just like to keep an eye on spending Aus - ever since Bates I'm wary of people telling us they have invested x amount when in actual fact the overall investment is not what it seems. Most chairmen never really put any of their own money into a club, rather they fund the club with player sales and 'loans' that they get back eventually. For instance, the purchase of ER will ultimately be paid for by the club itself - not by Radz. Not a complaint but just saying.
