Come summer time, some players I'd like us to get rid of: Diouf, Peltier, Ashdown, Cairns, Drury, Pugh, Tonge, Brown, Green, Norris, Austin, Thompson, White, Turner Twins, Hunt and Lees. I realise some will be gone anyway and others such as Hunt will be hard to shift.

I'd like to see us sign:
Sam Slocombe, a big commanding defender, a defensive midfielder, Fernando Forestieri, Franck Moussa, Alexandre Bonnet, Anthony Sarcevic, Sam Baldock, Chris Wood.

Promote the likes of Killock, Walters, Grimes and Cook to the first team squad too.

What about Aaron Cresswell as a shout for LB or even a season long loan for old boy Luke Garbutt from the Toffee's?

WhY is Dawson in that list of youngsters

Dear Mr Cellino.




I appreciate that you are a very busy man, especially at this time, but I would very much appreciate it if you could take the time to read this email.




Firstly I would like to congratulate you on the Football League finally ratifying your take our of our great club.




I would also like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have done for Leeds United AFC.




The 18th of March is a day I will always remember, as this was the day my first son Luka was born. I will also remember it as the day I thought my beloved football team, a team I have supported since I first knew what football was, was going to die, the day your initial takeover was blocked by the FL.

I don't claim to be a lawyer and have no background in law, so I can only give my opinion, but I believe that their decision was totally wrong, unjust and gutless!




I was appalled by the state of the clubs finances under GFH and had become resigned to the fact that we were going to go into administration, and plummet to the depths of English football once more following years of mismanagement and plundering by previous regimes.




Saturday 5th April 2014 began as every other Saturday since Christmas, the excitement and anticipation of a possible 3 points for LUFC, however after 90 minutes we had the same disappointed and angry feeling, after yet another spineless defeat. I can not tell you the amazing feeling I felt as the news broke of the QC's decision to allow your takeover. I am not ashamed to admit that I wept as the relief and joy hit me, I actually cried more than the day my son was born. In fact the first words I spoke when I had composed myself was too my son and they were "you will still be able to support us, you have a club!"

You see Mr Cellino you have not bought a football club, you have bought an institution, a part of peoples lives, you have bought a family!




Of course we would all love to your vision of Premier League football in two years to come true, but that doesn't really matter. These amazing fans would settle for the next ten years in the championship now that our future is now secure thanks to you.

I am positive that with your leadership our once mighty club will rise again, we will become the pride of Yorkshire, and people throughout the globe will again be fearful of us!




Once again thank you for what you have done for us.

Like I said, the one thing Leeds Fans have is a sense of humour.

We HAVE to have a sense of humour to put up with the sh*te that's going on at the moment.

ed13 can you tell us if being registered is happening across all clubs sites and if so do you know how many have registered for each club? I would be interested to know how we stand compared to other clubs? a top ten clubs by number of registered fans would be great

Hello, my name is Lucas and I've got a problem.
I'm addicted to reading this site. I've been registered now for about a year or 2 and just can't stop reading the often outrageous but occasionally accurate rumours.
I feel like I can't go a single day without having a read, I feel like my life won't be worth living if I miss a single day and the refresh button, F5, is a life saver.
Please don't bother helping me as I love it. Like cigs and booze, I know they will get me in the end but the love for them just overrides all other emotions.

Well, I am coming along so there's 2 more. And while I was tring to buy 2 seats in the west stand my first 2 attempts failed as the seats were sold from under me, so I guess that means they are selling pretty well.

I ended up in C20 in the West stand which was more than 3/4 gone when I looked.

Hoping the back four don't get ER fright. Need and want a win for MC.

Hi all leeds fans, just registered. Went to watford on tuesday, got to say the worst perfomance I have seen in a long time. Why play hunt up front? He was hopeless, could not trap a bag of sand! If we are going to hoof it, which we do then youve got to play smith. Good to see poleon getting a game, I think him and smith could be a handful. Anyway can't wait for season to end, work with a watford fan and even he is taking the p#ss. Bring on next season, new players, new start!

not looking good for lufc at the moment
not looking forward to blackpool at all if rumours that players do not like cellino(after his attack on them about overpaid/rubbish footballers)
i do not think the players(4 or 5 of them) are bothered about winning under cellino or bmd. the rest who can be bothered cannot carry 4/5 players who do not want to play for lufc.

if donny & charlton are anything to go by, we're in for a rubbish game!
i for one do not think we'll go down, as there's worst teams below us - even after our games lost/won ratio

Not out of the woods yet, we seriously need 3 points from somewhere and saturday is an opportuniy. Never known a season go so pear shaped, its been horrific and that's an understatement.

I wonder if it`s a case of saying to all the players at training tomorrow; who wants to play for leeds united and give their all for rest of season. This is one way of finding out who is committed to the cause.

Any thoughts?

Want to start a thread off asking those who do we think are realistic targets for the summer . Also who we want to keep from the current squad.
I would keep; Ross (obviously) Byram; Sign Butland if poss; Dr Who; Pearce ( not first choice cb but as back up)
This of course is assuming ( perhaps hoping) we avoid the drop.
Do hope Celino has given the current squad a hair drying, especially after the watford game.

BTW good to see all the new names coming on the site. Enjoy the comments greatly.

If spurs get a new manager this summer then Harry Kane will probably be surplus to requirements. personally I think our midfield is awful and we need some young hungry talent too. I'd like to see snoddy back if Norwich drop but I think he'll be nicked by a PL outfit.

I would like to see Johnson back if norwich rop, then Rhodes and King frm Blackburn with butland or Speroni in goal, I agreewith Wes morgan and keep rss, Byram Austin peace lees poleonand mowat and poss bring some of our development squad through they have had a good season and I thik would be good squad players

Just watched first 20 mins of 73 cup final, wow I missed some good football with my age, anyone know if there's a DVD of that years games or anything like that? Want to see more!

Get the 72final the tackles are juicer and the result is far better

As per the other post just a hello really. Leeds fan living in Nottingham :(

Off to the Blackpool game satdee and i'm looking forward to it win, lose or draw!

Personally my main hope for Leeds over the coming few months is to buy back the Ground and Thorpe Arch and maybe start developing the surrounding area to the stadium. That would give us plenty in terms of assets as a safeguard for the future.

Also I hate how quick the Leeds fans turn on the players at the game, let's try change that! these donkeys need encouragement lol!

After 10 years then missed much of the first glory years due to playing and coaching but caught Wilco and Graham and o'leary and the others. Never been a 'Kenny knocker' and haven't seen much to convince me that Butland is that much better(See Wigan). Both had poor defences in front of them but Butland now looks a bit shell shocked. He will improv and Kenny will succomb to age. Like others I can't see where the next point is coming from but whilst we keep playing people out of position and don't motivate them we will struggle. Dropping Smith one game and moving McCormack out wide the next to accommodate Hunt were 'classics'. Playing Wooton at right back is another. I can put up with Brown because he always gives 100%
Don't think we will go down. Hope Cellino can shake it up a bit. Don't want another embarrassment against Blackpool.

When I saw the team sheet and formation at Bournemouth I nearly choked. I thought "oh my god we are going to get done down our left side badly" and low and behold we get thrashed. But the most puzzling thing is the BMD could not see it coming and did not understand why, and will make the same mistake again.

Who is everyone thinking would be good signings for next season? Think we need a midfield general and someone who is not scared to organise other players on the field

Pirlo is 34 now, would be fantastic pulling the strings in midfield!

Alex Mccarthy would be my first buy. Wouldn't mind looking at Ryan gauld either.

Said before but may aswell post again who I fancy, Scott Parker, wes Morgan from Leicester, either zaha or some winger of his ability who will run at defences. Really not a clue on goalkeepers, any suggestions? Ryan gauld a good shout but can see a top flight team trying to buy him but probably next year. As a striker what do people think ameobi could offer in the champs?

Yeah I agree that zaha is overrated but he still seems to have a bit of a fear factor in this league combined with the confidence to run at defences is sure to cause problems, as I said though Scott Parker my no.1 choice.

Massimo Cellino has said he wants to build a squad around international players, being realistic (no messi's) what international players would you like to see?

Well Ibarbo sounds amazing, a bit out of depth I feel.

Dessena has good experience in the centre of midfield.

Viccino is a young Uruguay attacking midfielder.


Those three could be a triangle of success. We need class in the middle and another 20 goal striker

What a tremendous guy Massimo is, met him last night as I was entering the East Stand to attend the Brendan Ormsby night. Had my picture taken with him, he was flanked by a couple of lap top wielding accountants.(he had already been in the Peacock for late lunch earlier and bought beers all round!)

Made some real candid remarks, like I knew him! I actually kissed him on the cheek Italian style.I thanked him for saving the club on behalf of all the supporters.
He laughed when I told him about the Cellino 'can't buy the love tee shirts!

For the first time in a longtime got to say I'm excited about the future of our team. I'm even excited about the clean up process MC will be embarking on and the rebuilding of our beloved club. MARCHING ON TOGETHER

I agree with the post though. We have been through so much bad and negative things within the club in the last 10years that we are due some good things to shout about. Massimo is certainly going to be the saviour our fantastic club.

We will buy back Elland Road, Training Ground for sure before season is out.

He will have cleared off all our debts and have us back in a stable financial condition also.

Half of the dead wood will be out of contract in the summer and the other half I'm sure he will have something up his sleeve to get them off the books so we can bring in some quality players willing to battle on lower wages than the morrons we have at the minute.

I'm pretty sure we will have a new strip out in the summer too for the start of a new era (hopefully it will be a better brand than Macron) would love to see Adidas/Nike/Umbro or something.

Finally Massimo has made it clear that us fans are very important to the club and I have a feeling that next years ticket prices will be lower due to us all paying through the nose to see rubbish performances.

We love you Mr. Cellino and will March on together with you
